Life is better together!

 “The Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone.” Genesis 2:18 NIV

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24–25 NIV

From the very beginning, God declared that life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Genesis reminds us that we were created for connection. Hebrews calls us to live that out in meeting together, encouraging one another, and spurring each other on in love and good works.

Why Life Groups?

• Life Groups at After the One Church turn rows into circles, moving us from just attending to truly belonging. They’re where we share life, grow in faith, and walk out our calling in Christ.
  Because life isn’t just meant to be lived, it’s meant to be shared.

What’s a Life Group?

• Small groups of 3–12 people who meet regularly to share life, study God’s Word, and encourage one another. Think of it as family dinner… but with fewer awkward questions and better snacks.

Why We Need It?

• We were designed for connection. Life Groups give us a place to be known, prayed for, and encouraged so no one walks alone.

• Connect: Make real friendships and find your place in God’s family, sharing life, prayer, and fellowship together.
• Shine: Take faith beyond the circle, serve, encourage, and reflect Christ in everyday life.
• Grow: Grow by doing life together through activities, meals, conversations, serving side by side, and walking through everyday moments with support and encouragement.
• Bottom Line: Life Groups help us belong like family, grow stronger in faith, and live the way God designed us to be together. As Scripture reminds us, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”  1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV
